Surrounded by majestic half-century old olive trees and gorgeous vineyards, Algodon Wine Estates' Championship Tennis Center seeks to position itself as one of Argentina's top tennis centers, equipped with the latest in technology and facilities in-line with world-class standards. The tennis center's design and realization will be overseen by Argentine tennis legend, José Luis Clerc, who will provide general management for the center and will also play an instrumental role in developing the Clerc Tennis Academy at Algodon Wine Estates. The academy will hold individual and group classes for all levels and ages, and the tennis center expects to attract top-level tennis players, championship finals, exhibition games, tournaments, and clinics.
The tennis center will feature every variety of Grand Slam playing surface including 7 clay courts, 1 hard court, and 2 grass courts. One of the tennis center's principal features will include a Grand Center Court that will accommodate nearly 700 spectators, and which will be lowered for unobstructed panoramic views from above. The tennis center will also feature high-end amenities including a players' clubhouse, tennis pro shop, state-of-the-art gym, locker rooms (complete with steam shower, sauna, and massage room), players' lounge, and a restaurant with a second-floor balcony dining patio overlooking the Grand Center Court.
There is currently one clay court available for play. The additional courts are in the final phase of construction, and will be open for play in the third quarter of 2010. Please contact our reservation department for further details.
