Azcona+Vega Arquitectos, Architects. Elisa Azcona, Architect + Planning Specialist and Franco Vega, Architect, are two talented Mendocinos with over 13 years experience in their respective fields. The studio specializes in Architecture, Engineering (electromechanical, civil and buildings) and Design. They both attended Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, Ms. Azcona for graduate studies, and Mr. Vega for undergraduate. Their professional experience includes architecture, landscape architecture and planning for the Disney Development Company in the U.S., as well as for international firms located in the Kingdom of Jordan and the Republic of China. Ms. Azcona has had the opportunity to work on Tyson’s II, a project of Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates, which has received awards in over 30 countries. Together in Mendoza, they have worked on major architectural projects for the UTN (National Technological University), as well as the expansion of the College of Carmen de San Rafael. They also participated in the preparation of the Master Plan of Algodon Wine Estates' Argentina vineyard real estate residential development alongside Bormida & Yanzon and Green Developments. Mr. Vega currently serves as Projects Manager at Bormida & Yanzon for the south zone, which is presently drafting a Master Plan for a golf and polo development in Tupungato.
