Golf Course

Please note that the back nine holes are newly seeded and are not yet open for play this season.  Contact our reservation department for further details.

Hole 1

The first hole may be played over a lake area from all five tee boxes. The driving range and putting green both overlook the lake. At the first hole, an easy drive over the lake will bring you to a little dogleg where the green is tucked behind a canal. Not necessarily the easiest opener, but a good one.

Hole 2

The tee boxes here are slightly elevated to a semi-blind tee shot over a rolling hill. After you carry the hill about 175 yards from the whites, it opens to a dogleg left with bunkers on the left. This was strategically done to keep play moving right; in order to avoid the lots that run on the hole's left side. On the right side is a wild natural bunker area that utilizes the landscape and the desert plants. This natural bunker also acts as a divider between the 2nd and 4th holes, and causes the player to steer clear of that area (or face severe hazards.) On the far left side of the hole (as part of the left fairway), there is a unique bunker that has been transplanted from the natural desert hills; consisting of desert soil, shrubs, and cacti.

Hole 3

A line has been cut through the old walnut grove, in order to form the sight of the fairway. The result is a slight dogleg left, and a very short par 4; where the green hides behind a group of beautiful old and winding trees. The point of this tee is to push the ball to the right, in order to avoid play over this hazard.

Hole 4

Once again, back through the walnut trees. The idea here is to hit through a tunnel tree effect on the drive. It is an extremely long par 5 with yardage, depending on pin placement, which can reach up to 660 yards from the blacks. There is also a heroic second-shot carry; over the same canal that came into play on hole 1. This green is very interesting; even though it is the largest on the course, and depending on the angle of approach, it is possible that one may only be able to see 20% of the green. The front of the green is high on a slope, and extends back into the rough that eventually carries down into a very open and flat area. The idea here is to allow ample space for long shots into the very large green.

Hole 5

We now come to our first par 3 that, again, is long from the blacks; but straight forward. It plays a little down back towards the driving range.

Hole 6

A grouping of mounds toward the right side of the fairway was created, in order to define the hole and act as buffer to the driving range.

Hole 7

This hole is surrounded by marvelous olive trees, and thus called "Olivos".

Hole 8

Set on our water reserve, this hole is complimented by stunning willow trees; we call this hole "Sauces".

Hole 9

This is set among Malbec vines and poplars; we call this hole "Malbec".

Hole 10

Around the 10th hole you'll find yourself in the company of walnut trees, Hole 10 is called "Nogales".

Hole 11

This hole crosses a Bonarda vineyard and is aptly named "Bonarda".

Hole 12

This hole is called "Damascos", and has a backdrop of apricot trees.

Hole 13

This hole is called "Syrah", and enjoys a breathtaking view of the entire estate.

Hole 14

Hole 14 is called "Cabernet", and also enjoys stunning estate views.

Hole 15

At the 15th hole, we honor the memory of José Jurado. This hole is a replica of the 17th hole of Carnoustie, Scotland, where in 1931 José Jurado missed winning the British Open by one stroke.

Hole 16

This green is formed into a hill and is quite large. Two bunkers on the left side have been created.

Hole 17

This hole is played from a down tee to an elevated green. The hole measures only 130 yards from the blacks, and has a small green. Two canals are there contend with; one being very short, the other long and to the right. Upon reaching the green, the player will have a wonderful view of the desert landscape...it is truly very special.

Hole 18

This hole is one of the prettiest on the course, and it allows a view of the second shot landing area for this split 18th fairway. The first shot sets one up for a carry of the lake, bringing you back home. What a finish!
