Algodon Wine Estates

Our Process

Algodon Wine Estates’ most mature vines were planted in 1946 and produce grapes of incredible quality. Yet even amongst these, only specially selected vines can provide our winery with the best quality grapes for our annual harvest, which begins the last week of February and ends around the last week of April. All of our grapes are harvested by hand, and the resultant wine is left to mature in French and American Oak barrels. Our talented oenologists and winemakers continue to prove that it takes more than just acquiring the best raw materials in order to obtain the highest quality of wines. Craftsmanship and tradition, combined with state-of-the-art technology, allow us to continue to faithfully produce wines in accordance with our own impeccably high standards and tastes.
