(Guido and Av. Presidente Manuel Quintana)
Impressive restaurant in latest posh Recoleta hotel manages to succeed admirably at fusion dining. Executive Chef Antonio Soriano trained in Paris, and this is no class-B French flair. Elegant, well-executed menu manages to impress actual foodies and the nouveau riche alike, without resorting to tired plating tactics. Lamb, produce, wine fresh from hotel's sister property in Mendoza. Glass-enclosed patio with fireplace for chilly nights, intimate dining room for make-it-or-break-it dating scenarios. Fishbowl the cognac bar with a nice cigar before stumbling out into the ritziest section of Recoleta.
